WIRED.com : Sci-Fi-Inspired Concept Ships Show Future of Travel

I was one of 8 concept artists who was featured in Wired.com today. The main feature is on the front page under ART: Gallery: Sci-Fi-Inspired Concept Ships Show Future of Travel

I'm pretty honored considering I got to share some space with amazing artists like Sparth, David Levy, Jeffrey Turley, Michal Jelinek, Ben Mauro, Theodor Waern, and Jake Parker. I'm also the only one who who had some ZBrush work in the bunch.. woohoo!

Spectrum 13!
Just picked up my copy of the latest Spectrum Fantasy Annual. One word... SICK!

Balls to the wall sick. Balls in a pair of vice-grips sick. Sledge-hammer to the ... ok, you get the idea.

I've been collecting the annual since it first came out and it's one of those things I'm obsessed with around this time every year. What blows my mind is that as corny as it sounds, each year the art just gets better and better. For me, this year is particularly special for two reasons. One, I get to see work by artists I've gotten to know over the past year. And two, Jeffery Jones took the Grand Master Award this year.

Now there are few artists that I truly, truly, absolutely adore. Very few. And if I had to choose the art of only one artist to view for the rest of my life, it would be Jeffrey Jones. I have had such complete admiration for this beautiful person and the work she has done since I was a kid, that it completely thrilled me to no end when I turned the page and saw that she had been chosen as Spectrum's choice for Grand Master. It is a truly deserving honor.

So yeah. This year's Spectrum Annual is ridiculously good. Stop reading this and get your copy now.
