Spectrum 13!
Just picked up my copy of the latest Spectrum Fantasy Annual. One word... SICK!

Balls to the wall sick. Balls in a pair of vice-grips sick. Sledge-hammer to the ... ok, you get the idea.

I've been collecting the annual since it first came out and it's one of those things I'm obsessed with around this time every year. What blows my mind is that as corny as it sounds, each year the art just gets better and better. For me, this year is particularly special for two reasons. One, I get to see work by artists I've gotten to know over the past year. And two, Jeffery Jones took the Grand Master Award this year.

Now there are few artists that I truly, truly, absolutely adore. Very few. And if I had to choose the art of only one artist to view for the rest of my life, it would be Jeffrey Jones. I have had such complete admiration for this beautiful person and the work she has done since I was a kid, that it completely thrilled me to no end when I turned the page and saw that she had been chosen as Spectrum's choice for Grand Master. It is a truly deserving honor.

So yeah. This year's Spectrum Annual is ridiculously good. Stop reading this and get your copy now.

ImagineFX.com!
If you haven't done so already, go check out ImagineFX's new website! I think they did a great job and from what I read it looks like they already have over 100 registered members just on the first day! Big thanks also go out to Rob Carney for putting the "Innocent X" speed painting video I did for Rebecca Kimmel's OFDW in the latest DVD of Issue 11. Check it out: www.imaginefx.com

Thanks everyone...
Just checked my stats… looks like I received close to 20,000 portfolio views for the week! Big thanks go out to Tim Robbins for selecting my portfolio to be one of the featured portfolios and to everyone who took the time to stop by and have a look. Thanks again!

On a side note, I’ve decided to take Denver Chapter down, however, my friend Igor has recently created a multimedia gallery which will feature his motion illustrations and animations. Check it out

Im pregnant.

Kidding! I was just notified that my portfolio was chosen as one of this week's 'featured portfolios'!

This is all kind of sudden but I'd like to give credit where credit is due....thanks to Glenlivet, Desperate Housewives, 2 Live Crew, Eagle Snacks and the fat chic from Facts of Life. Good times!
